Alessandro Enriquez is an eclectic Italian designer who has become today a real point of reference in the world of fashion. After his bachelor in Arts in 2004, Alessandro Enriquez studied Fashion Design in London Central St Martin and at the Marangoni Institute in Milan. He immediately started a career as a designer and worked for Costume National, developing more and more his strong creative point of view. Alessandro likes to play with colors and with the images and symbols of the great heritage of popular culture and as a true passionate ‘collector’ of vintage clothes and illustrations, he often collaborates with film companies such as Universal, Metro Goldwin Meyer, Warner Bros to create amazing capsule collections. From Alessandro’s creative and eclectic flair, 10X10 Anitaliantheory and subsequently, the homonymous brand Alessandro Enriquez were born, an ironic and innovative philosophy of the Italian spirit.

Julfer brings you back in time. We are in the middle of 2000’s, possibly in LA. It makes you jump directly to the City of Fame and Excess, when the pop culture was all about sex, drinking and partying. Moments when the low waist denim became baggy, the top corsets started to experience the first cut outs, and every piece was ensemble by strings and crossed laces. The woman was sexy, extravagant, daring and carless. Julfer keeps the heritage and nature of pop culture, including a glimpse of 80’s in the journey. KUBORAUM - DREAMED IN BERLIN, HANDMADE IN ITALY. Kuboraum was founded in 2012 in Berlin as a reaction to the dominant aesthetics in the world of eyewear and as an affirmation of independence from an industrial logic based on market research, trends, aesthetic massification, and the annihilation of individual expression. Its headquarters are in the building of a former post office on the border between East and West Berlin. After various metamorphoses, this place today includes the studio, showroom, and Kuboraum Flagship Store, while the first Flagship Store in Italy was opened in Milan in 2022. Under the direction of artist, sculptor, and designer Livio Graziottin and anthropologist, brand director Sergio Eusebi, Kuboraum represents the Italian artisanal tradition implemented in a Berlin-based creative environment.

INNERRAUM. Innerraum is a multifaceted project born in Berlin as an offshoot of Kuboraum, an established brand that has radically changed the eyewear industry over the past ten years. From the words "inner," which in German means inside, and "raum", which means room, Innerraum represents a new form of language translated into individual polyphonic objects meant to be worn as an extension of the body. Despite their extremely industrial aesthetic, Innerraum objects cannot be separated from the highest level of craftsmanship and handwork in the luxury industry. Each object is made up of single polyurethan pieces, recycled from 30 to 70%, hand-assembled one by one in our own laboratory in Italy. Innerraum is not only affirming the birth of a new aesthetic, but also endorsing a new vision of luxury, where an object is more luxurious not because of its size but because of the number of single pieces that compose it, celebrating the art of craftmanship and handwork applied in a field of experimentation

Founded in 2017, Nemozena was first conceived as a marriage of Arabic tradition and classic Italian style. The word ‘Nemozena’ can be broken down into two words. Nemo, derived from Latin meaning Nobody, and Zena, derived from the Greek word for Living. The original Greek word could be translated as ‘belonging or sacred to Zeus’, the ancient Greek God of Olympus. Berlin-based label Ottolinger is a collaboration between Swiss-born designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient. After meeting at the Basel school of design, the two quickly started their avant-garde and anti-commercial challenge to luxury fashion’s status quo. Their signature aesthetic truly blazes through immaculately finished products that are burnt, ripped, and manipulated into bold new forms. The result represents an harmony between their meticulous construction and their punk rebellious attitude. Military-inspired trousers and outerwear are matched with mesh tops and feminine laces. Shredded skirts and raw-edged cut-outs are linked by asymmetric shapes for an unconventional seductive appeal.

"To build up new aesthetic, old aesthetic must first be broke. The most direct method is by trial and error. I use different concepts of art to impact the old aesthetic standard in the fashion industry. In these impacts I found new ways to perform fashion, for example, c hanging and limiting dance moves by clothes. This is to challenge the accepted aesthetic dancing, and at the same time, challenge the accepted aesthetic on the catwalk bridge. Another example would be using “Fat is Fashion” as a topic, by designing an installation art in a gallery, I challenged the traditional aesthetic by making visitors wear an inflatable cloths. In the future I will continue to explore different means to present my view of fashion. Film and sculpture would be my future directions." By Yeung Chin.
